Noteworthy invites new members for its fall season
The women’s chorus Noteworthy is welcoming new members as it begins its fall season. The first rehearsal is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Hancock.
This lively barbershop ensemble is known for its intricate harmonies and singable melodies, always performing a cappella. The group puts on concerts in the spring and during the holidays, collecting donations to benefit local nonprofits.
Noteworthy has no auditions.
“The only prerequisite is the ability to carry a tune,” said director Joan Petrelius. “If you love to sing, have fun and make new friends, we invite you to come to a rehearsal and learn what we’re all about.”
