MTU Winter Carnival snow statue photos

I shared a lot of my snow statue photos earlier in the week. I went out on Wednesday, while the sun was still out. I think the snow and ice looks particularly nice in the sun, but the statues were not quite complete, either. I didn’t get the chance to head back out for more photos before the storm hit. I wonder what the statues look like half-buried in snow, though.

Here are a few from Wednesday that I didn’t share in my earlier email.

Phi Kappa Tau’s winning entry in the Men’s Division, on Wednesday afternoon. I was really impressed with how much more work they did between this photo, and the final, judged presentation Thursday morning.

Mickey Mouse and Steamboat Willie make an appearance in the 1st place Co-ed Division entry by Alpha Gamma Delta and Sigma Tau Gamma.

Doctor Zoidberg, from Futurama, questioned my decision not to include him in the previous email, “Why not Zoidberg?!”
