The League of Women Voters of the Copper Country will present a program about the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact agreement.
Because of the Electoral College, five times the US Presidential election has NOT been won by the candidate with the most votes. The Michigan legislature is now debating joining the legal agreement which would decide presidential elections based on one person, one vote.
