Michigan Nonprofit Relief Fund Learning Session

We are excited to share an opportunity for nonprofits financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Monday, May 1st, Keweenaw Area Community Foundation and the Keweenaw Storytelling Center will host an in-person learning and networking opportunity about the Michigan Nonprofit Relief Fund.

There is still time to learn and apply but applications close May 5th!

What:

  • Learn more about the Michigan Nonprofit Relief Fund

  • An opportunity to ask questions specific to your organization’s application

When:

  • Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4-6 pm

  • Stop by anytime during the session to ask questions

Where:

Why:

  • Up to $25,000 is available for nonprofit organizations in Michigan to apply for one-time funding due to financial hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic

  • You will have an opportunity to ask questions of Amy Quinn, CEO of Grow and Lead, who also sits on the MI Nonprofit Relief Fund Statewide Committee

  • Network with other nonprofit organizations

  • Light refreshments will be provided

More about the MNA Nonprofit Relief Fund Opportunity:

  • All Michigan 501(c)(3) nonprofits with annual revenues less than $1 million are eligible

  • You do not need to be a member of the Michigan Nonprofit Association to apply

  • You can apply even if you didn’t submit a letter of intent

  • Grants range from $5,000-$25,000

  • Applications are due May 5, 2023

  • Funding for this program comes from the federal Coronavirus Relief Funds awarded to the State of Michigan as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
