The Copper Country Community Band's "Concert on the Green" performance will be Thursday, July 20 at 7 p.m. on Quincy Green in Downtown Hancock.
The Copper Country Community Art Center will also host a brief reception at 6:30 p.m. to present this year's Public Art Tour and recognize the artists who created 13 individual art pieces in the City of Hancock. The reproductions from the CCCAC’s Permanent Collection are placed in green spaces and along walking paths throughout downtown Hancock. The works of art by local artists include Kevin Breyfogle; Barbara Cloutier; John Haro; Joyce Koskenmaki; Nancy Kromer; Jan Manniko; Edith Marshall; Nancy McCabe; Clyde Mikkola; Alice Reynolds; Alden Steck; Fredi Taddeucci; and Georgi Tsenov. The high-quality reproductions were made possible by Glenn Ierley who photographed the original art. The reception will be on July 20 from 6:30-7 p.m. on Quincy Green. A walking tour map is available at City Hall, at the CCCAC, and on the website www.coppercountryarts.com.
