Kitschy Spirit Records, a vinyl record store in Calumet, will celebrate Record Store Day 2023 on Saturday, April 22. Kitschy Spirit first opened mid-June 2022 and is located on the second floor of the merchants and Miners Building at 200 5th Street. They will be opening early at 8 a.m. for the festivities. Kitschy Spirit will be carrying special Record Store Day limited edition vinyl of various artists.
Record Store Day is a worldwide call to support local independent record stores. Kitschy Spirit offers new and used vinyl, CDs, and cassettes of all genres. There will be free drip coffee courtesy of Keweenaw Coffee Works.
