EAGLE HARBOR —Indulge your senses with a sauna experience on the icy shores of Lake Superior. Eagle Harbor’s newest sauna, Lake Superior Steam, is open now before the chilly winter season. Come this Sunday, Dec. 3 to experience the first Winter Wellness event at Superior Steam. You’ll see one of the best ways to beat the isolation of winter and find fellow adventure and wellness enthusiasts.

Superior Steam offers private and social sessions for those looking to unwind. Sauna-goers can expect quality, wood-fired saunas with a trained guide to teach you the wellness benefits and history of saunas. Leave your towels at home – during private sessions you’ll receive a robe and fresh linens on site. Brave Superior’s cold shores and take a plunge! You’ll warm right back up.

“We’re thrilled to offer a Finnish sauna experience highlighting the beaty of Lake Superior,” said Lynn Makela, owner of Lake Superior Steam and Fresh Coast Cabins. “Lake Superior Steam focuses on private sauna sessions in a spa-like environment for the ultimate way to relax and rejuvenate using hot and cold therapy. This new amenity is already loved by our cabin guests and we’re excited to offer sessions and events to the public in the days ahead.”

You can book your steam session now at www.lakesuperiorsteam.com. Join in this weekend for the Winter Wellness event and enjoy your first sauna and cold plunge at Lake Superior Steam.
